Examining and comparing the moral training approaches of commanders of a military university from the perspective of students and commanders

Abstract
Objective:
The current research was conducted with the aim of prioritizing the moral education approach from the perspective of students and line commanders of a military university, and in terms of its practical purpose, it was a descriptive survey method.
Methodology:
The statistical population included 77 third-year students and 33 university commanders. The number of samples was equal to the population and the sampling method was the whole number, and a questionnaire was used to collect information. This questionnaire had three components and 30 items. The findings were analyzed based on average statistical values, chi-square test and Friedman test
Findings:
The findings showed that among the three moral education approaches of virtue-oriented, care-oriented, and justice-oriented, from the perspective of the students, first the virtuous approach with an average of 5.94, then the justice-oriented educational approach with an average of 4.49, and finally the caring educational approach with an average of 2.79 were selected respectively. From the point of view of the commanders, the virtue-oriented approach with an average of 7.17, the care-oriented approach with an average of 5, and the justice-oriented approach with an average of 3.49 were selected respectively.
