Abstract
Abstract The present study was conducted with the aim of predicting functional self-efficacy based on personality traits and dimensions of spiritual intelligence in students (a case study of a military university). The current research was applied and of descriptive correlational type. The statistical population was second-year university students, 150 of them were selected by random sampling based on the Tabachenik, Fidel and Allman formula. Data collection tools included Bandura's self-efficacy questionnaires, Abdullahzadeh et al.'s spiritual intelligence, and Neo's personality questionnaire. Data analysis was done using Pearson's correlation coefficient test and simultaneous and stepwise regression. The results indicated that there is a significant relationship between spiritual intelligence and personality traits with self-efficacy. The regression results showed that the prediction of self-efficacy based on spiritual intelligence and personality traits was significant and the predictor variables could well predict the criterion variable at the level of 0.001. Therefore, according to the predictability of the variables examined in this research, the vice-chancellor of education and training of the university can plan to increase the self-efficacy of students in order to teach these variables.
