Objective: The defense budget is one of the most important factors in increasing the combat capability of the armed forces. Accordingly, prioritizing costs and addressing the effective components of this budgeting futures study, especially with the experience of the 12-day war, can be of particular importance. Method: In this study, initially, by carefully studying the most important related articles that were identified using the CASP process, the main variables and components were extracted and approved by 20 retired and experienced experts in the faculty of military universities and experts in the field of accounting and budget management of defense organizations of the AJA Unit (Islamic Republic of Iran Army). Findings: . The main variables include future technology trends, the orientation of upstream documents, future economic trends, and the organization's strategic management approaches. Also, the components obtained through the ranking process were prioritized and the most important ones were identified with the help of experts. Result: As a result of budgeting in artificial intelligence and the future of technology, defense access (air defense) to artificial intelligence, the vision and mission assigned to defense organizations and national defense macro strategies, economic globalization, and increased defense exchange were introduced as the most important components of future defense budgeting in increasing the combat capability of the armed forces. Therefore, paying attention to the aforementioned components and applying them can bring us closer to the predetermined goals and in the long term, lead to the country's defense authority.
