Objective: Employee empowerment plays a vital role in improving organizational performance, and organizational culture significantly influences this process. Given the importance of providing services to the armed forces, this study aims to examine the role of organizational culture in empowering the employees of Bank Sepah’s Branch Management in Region Four of Tehran.
Methodology: This study is descriptive-survey and applied in nature. The statistical population consisted of 1,094 employees of Bank Sepah, from which a sample of 292 individuals was selected using the Krejcie and Morgan table. Data were collected using standardized questionnaires on “empowerment” and “organizational culture” developed by Spreitzer & Denison (2011). The validity of the questionnaires was confirmed through face and content validation by experts, and their reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s alpha coefficients, all above 0.75. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics (frequency, mean, standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Spearman correlation coefficient and multivariate analysis of variance - MANOVA) with SPSS software.
Findings: The results indicated a positive and significant relationship between dimensions of organizational culture and employee empowerment in the Branch Management of Region Four of Bank Sepah in Tehran.
Originality: The study reveals that organizational culture has a positive and significant impact on employee empowerment in this bank and can be considered a key factor in enhancing organizational performance.
