Background: Human capital management in defense organizations has a special place due to the inherent complexities of this field and the high importance of human resources in achieving security and defense goals. Rapid changes in technologies, the complexity of security threats, and the need to adapt to changing conditions have doubled the importance of effective human resource management.
Purpose: The purpose of this research is to provide effective solutions and methods of human capital management in the field of defense, emphasizing the challenges, opportunities, and the role of new technologies.
Research method: This research was carried out by descriptive-analytical method and used a mixed approach to collect data. The required information has been collected through the review of documents, background analysis of internal and external researches, and interviews with experts in the field of defense.
Findings: Challenges such as lack of expert staff, burnout, inability to adapt to new technologies, and weakness in maintaining key forces are among the most important obstacles to human capital management in defense organizations. Solutions such as using new technologies, improving educational systems, improving organizational culture, and creating incentive systems can help improve human resource management in this field.
Conclusion: Human capital management in the field of defense should be considered as a strategic priority. Adopting comprehensive approaches including new technologies, strengthening organizational culture, developing trainings, etc. can increase the productivity and capability of human resources and make defense organizations more ready to deal with security threats.
