Abstract
The present study was conducted on the effect of work environment and work environment agility on teachers' creative performance in education. research method was descriptive correlational.
This study was applied in terms of purpose and correlational in terms of method. The statistical population of the study included all professors of a military university, 131 of whom were selected by random sampling method based on the Tabachnik, Fidel, and Allman formula. The tools used included the Kanter Creative Behavior Questionnaire, the Sharifi and Zhang Organizational Agility Questionnaire, and the Halpin and Kraft Organizational Environment Questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 26 software.
The results of multiple regression analysis showed that about 42% of the variance in creative behaviors is predicted by organizational agility components (flexibility, speed, responsiveness, and competence) and organizational environment components (inclusive behavior, failure behavior, intimate behavior, supportive behavior, and directive behavior). Flexibility and speed have a positive and significant relationship with creative behaviors. Responsiveness and competence do not have a significant relationship with creative behaviors. Inclusive behavior, failed behavior, intimate behavior, and command behavior have a positive and significant relationship with creative behaviors. Supportive behavior does not have a significant relationship with creative behaviors. Among the research variables, failed behavior ranked first in predicting creative behaviors.
Considering the predictive power of the variables examined in this study, the Vice President for Education and Training of the University can plan to improve the organizational environment and organizational agility in order to enhance the creative performance of professors.
