There is widespread fear of Iran and its perceived threat among the governments of the Middle East and the world. In this article, the reasons behind the launch of the Iranophobia project by the West, especially the United States, and its effect on the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran are examined. Iranophobia is pursued with two goals, the first goal is to show the Middle East region as insecure, and then to sell military weapons to reactionary and wealthy Arab countries in the region. And the second goal is to divert the thoughts of the government men and people of the Persian Gulf countries from the danger of Israel to Iran and to form a coalition centered on America and to adopt hard and soft balancing strategies to limit Iran.This research is applied and its method is descriptive and analytical. The purpose of this research is to give a brief look at the Iranophobia project and the goals of the countries following this project, and to express how it has a tremendous impact on the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the countries of the Persian Gulf region. to do
